School Closing Information

When WUHSMS is closed, all school and community activities are canceled, including athletic practices and events. In extreme conditions, the administrative offices may also be closed.

The Windsor Central Supervisory Union uses a variety of sources of information to determine whether
to close schools, delay the opening of schools, or dismiss schools early. These sources include actual physical inspection of the road and school conditions by transportation officials and other staff at spots throughout the area and an analysis of independent reports from the National Weather Service and the news media.If schools are closed or delayed, the announcement is usually made no later than 6:15 a.m. (or the night before if possible). Parents can find school closing and delays by checking with the following media outlets. We'll also do our best to post information on the school web site.
