Community Service

Credits Awarded: 30 hours = ¼ credit

Eligibility Requirements:
Grades 9-12

Description: Students can participate in 30 documented hours of community service and earn 1/4 credit toward graduation. Service can take place either on or off

school campus. Some examples are SOS Peer Counseling, Project Panama, volunteering at the Food Shelf, and projects completed through 4H. Looks great on transcript!

Expectations: Students complete required form including official documentation of hours, a short reflection and signature of service supervisor.
