Years teaching @ WUHSMS:7
Total years teaching:This is my 13th year of teaching and I taught music for several years prior to working in the schools.

If you were alone for one month and could only bring one book, one movie, and one piece of music, what would you bring?
I am a voracious reader and can't imagine not having an supply of books. I read lots of novels as well as lots of books about martial arts and motorcycles. OK, OK favorite novels are: Cider House Rules, Prayer for Owen Meany, Cold Mountain, The Time Traveller's Wife, Of Mice and Men, and many more.
If you could invite any three people, from any place or time, to dinner, whom would you invite?
I would invite Benjamin Franklin because he is a great philosopher and I would talk about the rights of man and the current state of our politics. I would hang out the great blues guitar player Robert Johnson, pick up some playing tips and ask him if he sold his soul to the devil. I would also have Bruce Lee over and get some tips on Jeet Kune Do and on living the martial way.
What's the best thing you do that almost no one knows about?
I study different martial arts including karate, judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
What makes WUHSMS a special place?
WUHSMS is a great community school where teacher really get to know kids and vice versa. It has a lot to offer including great classes, great sports, great music and plays and lots of other extracurricular activities. The school can be a solid start to students' academic and other life long pursuits
