Thoughts for the day:  Community is like a flower garden that is full of beauty, new growth, opportunities, with new things blooming all the time, interesting people, places and spaces providing us the ability to enjoy the fullness of life and the world around us.   Community makes us part of a whole.

FREE - FILM: Most Likely to Succeed

Exciting things are taking place within the Windsor Central SU and we hope that you will be part of our important conversations!

We will be having a FREE community showing of the documentary film Most Likely to Succeed followed by a discussion related to the film and it’s urgent call for the re-imagining of American education.

Our new Superintendent of Schools, Mary Beth Banios, is leading an "Innovation in Learning" study group made up of 30+ educators and students.  Inspired by reading Tony Wagner and Ted Dintersmith's book, "Most Likely to Succeed" we have visited forward thinking schools, both secondary and post secondary, to learn more and bring back innovative ideas back home to the Woodstock community. You can read more about our visits in the WCSU Innovation in Learning blog.

An incredible journey of humor, heart and heroes, A Village Fable is a musical fable about three souls who are shunned for being different: Chudu the Goat-Man, Armida the blacksmith's daughter, and Prince Christopher the violin-playing heir to the throne. Their paths not only intersect with each other and the dreaded Six-Fingered Man—they also come face-to-face with—themselves!
