Principal's Corner

This was spirit week at WUHSMS. Students and staff shared their Woodstock pride by dressing on theme days: class colors, camouflage, USA, jerseys and tie dye (pictured above). See the schedule below for a list of the homecoming games that happening on campus this weekend. Here are some other ways that WUHSMS students also showed pride in their school this week. Three student organizations, the Spanish Honor Society, Interact and Students for Social Change, are combining efforts to raise money for hurricane relief at our partner school in Puerto Rico. A student developed a survey to gather input for bettering cafeteria food options from students. She and I are planning ways to share and process the data. And Wednesday morning one of our bus drivers stopped me to let me know how one student is helping other students on the daily ride to school. It was week filled with good spirit... We are Woodstock.

Friday:

  • Football plays Mill River at 7:00 pm

  • Class vs Class Tug-O-War during halftime

  • Bonfire immediately after the game

Saturday:

  • Varsity and JV Boys Soccer play Hartford at 11:00 am

  • Varsity and JV Girls Soccer play Mount Anthony at 1:00 pm

  • Field Hockey plays Fair Haven at 3:00 pm

Free Flu Shots

The Public Health Council of the Upper Valley is hosting several FREE flu vaccine clinics this fall. Vaccines are available to anyone aged 10 and older, no matter where they live. We will be offering both regular and high dose vaccine, as appropriate. The clinics are sponsored by the Public Health Council, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, and various local supporters.
