Year of Graduation: 2019

If you were alone for one month and could only bring one book, one movie, and one piece of music, what would you bring?

I would bring: When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi (book) Despicable Me (movie) and "Unforgettable" by Thomas Rhett (song).

If you could invite any three people (fictitious or real), from any place or time, to dinner, whom would you invite?

1. Malala Yousafzai 2. Hermione Granger 3. Dr. Jane C. Wright M.D.

What's the best thing you do that almost no one knows about? (Perhaps you're a great singer, a horse whisperer, a great juggler???)

I am really good at "Just Dance" on the Wii, and have received high scores for over 10 songs. Once I get that remote in my hand, nothing can stop me from getting "my groove on".

What makes WUHSMS a special place? Can you name a memorable and lasting experience?

Woodstock is a special place because everybody is so supportive of each other. I remember being on stage at Mr. WUHS last year and thinking how amazing it was that the audience was so encouraging of each act, and made everyone feel like superstars up on stage. Each contestant had something completely unique to offer, from drinking hot sauce to singing a song, and the audience cheered for every single one. I am not sure I would have had the courage to be up on stage as the host at any other school, because only at Woodstock would I feel comfortable enough to do so.

What sports and/or co-curriculars do you participate in? (Make sure to include theater and music.)

I am on the soccer team, the alpine ski team, and the tennis team. I am the Junior Class Treasurer and President of VTLSP, but I also participate in Senior Math team, Medicine Club, Change the World Kids, Interact Rotary Club, and the Science Fair. I would like to try Debate team someday, and maybe become more environmentally friendly with Earthbeat.

What are your special interests outside of school? (horseback riding, fire department, hunting, wood working, special crafts, etc...)

Outside of school, I like to waterski with my dad, write poetry, and do community service. I also like to learn about neuroscience, and have attended the Dartmouth Brain Bee for the past two years.

What goals do you have for your future? Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? 10 years from now?

I would like to be a Pediatric Neurologist one day, so five years from now I see myself having majored in neuroscience and in the admissions process for Medical school. In 10 years, I would like to be working in a hospital as an intern or resident, gaining real life exposure to the field I will eventually practice in. I would like to be learning how to do procedures, interacting with patients, and beginning to make an impact on people's lives.
