It was March Music Madness at WUHS on the Ides of March.  Our Best Thursday was dedicated to all types of music, beginning with the Concert Band and ending with Chorus, in between there were various musical offerings from diverse groups including some Irish music, a song and dance, and a musical game!  Oh what fun and what talented students and faculty we have!  If you like our videos and BT, "like" us on Facebook below.

Senator Bernie Sanders on Alternative Energy, Foreign Wars, National Debt and more... E-mail

US Senator Bernie Sanders visited WUHSMS on Wednesday, January 4th to speak to students about his "Solar in Schools" initiative.  WUHSMS was a recipient of a $50,000 grant that place 2 arrays of solar panels on the school roof.  The panels were installed and "went live" in April of 2011.  In addition, Senator Sanders addressed questions from students ranging from energy sustainability and independence to the wars in Iraq and Afganistan to the national debt and deficit. This video is 45 minutes in length.

 

 
Virtual High School - Interview 4 (Olivia) Print E-mail

Virtual High School allows students to take over 300 online courses. Most courses are one semester long and range from Animal Behavior & Zoology to 20th Century Women Authors.

In this interview, Olivia talks a little about taking "Literary Skills for the 21st Century" through VHS.
