The Academic Resource Center (ARC) was created with students' needs in mind. It is a space where ALL high school students can come to seek tutorial assistance, test taking strategies, study methods, time management and organizational skills. The ARC provides a space that is respectful, welcoming, safe and purposeful. The ARC is staffed by a certified teacher with faculty support and peer tutors. Mission The Academic Resource Center mission is to provide a respectful, welcoming, safe and purposeful support system where students are involved in their learning and can achieve academic success.
Purpose The Academic Resource Center is a classroom where all high school students can come to seek tutorial assistance, test taking strategies, study methods, time management and organizational skills. The ARC includes developing and implementing learning activities for students, homework completion work spaces, effective monitoring reporting, and other academic programs in which students are involved in their learning.
