The Pathfinder Project - Try googleling "climate change" and you're sure to get millions and millions of results. There's no way of possibly visiting them all. An Internet Pathfinder is a web page on a chosen topic with well-researched links and annotations explaining why they are worthy of inclusion in the pathfinder. Students in the 8th grade computer skills II classes put their advanced web searching and critical web evaluations skills to work to create these web pages.
Digital Geography - Wow, the things you can do with Google Earth, MS Excel, and a few other free applicaitons. In the 8th grade Computer SKills II class, students examine state and nation statistics and create 3-D graphic overlays for Google Earth. Visit our Google page to download some of our KML files. You'll need Google Earth on your computer to view them.
Flash Animation Gallery - Adobe's Flash is not only used for creating animations for the web, but also a robust application that allows for the development of highly interactive and data-driven applications. In foundations of Web Design II, students learn animation basics as well as ActionScript, a powerful scripting language. Enjoy the this Student Flash Hall of Fame.
Independent Study - Cody Bellimer '07 3-D Independent Study - Cody Bellimer has been hard at work all year long creating a 3-D replica of the WUHSMS campus. This photo gallery is just a sample of the work that Cody produced throughout the year. In addition to the current campus, Cody designed and created several new additions and improvements to the current buildings.
