The Vermont Golf Association Scholarship Fund assists Vermont graduating seniors in obtaining a college education or technical training of university grade.

Requirements:

  • Vermont resident graduating from high school

  • Enrolled in or accepted as a full-time student at a college, university, or technical school of university grade

  • Current and active affiliation with golf (competing on a golf team, working at a golf course, or participating in golf programs/events)

This scholarship is for high school students who live within our catchment area or who will be graduating from Woodstock Union High School in Woodstock, VT. For more than 25 years, the Ottauquechee Health Foundation has improved the health and wellbeing of those who live in the towns we serve. They do this through financial assistance, community partnerships, education opportunities, and support of wellness initiatives.

The Ottauquechee Health Foundation assists in the healthcare needs of these core towns: Barnard, Bridgewater, Hartland, Killington, Plymouth, Pomfret, Quechee, Reading, and Woodstock, VT. To help support their mission of creating the healthiest communities possible, OHF has founded the OHF Health and Wellness Scholarship Award. This scholarship will be awarded to those planning to pursue or expand their careers in the health and wellness fields.

Woodstock Garden Club Patsy Highberg Scholarship

For: For students pursuing post-secondary studies related to plant and/or environmental sciences.


The Patsy Highberg Scholarship is awarded to assist individual students in post-secondary studies related to plant and/or environmental sciences. Such studies may include agriculture, botany, conservation, horticulture, forestry, landscape design/architecture, environmental studies, or other related fields.

The scholarship comprises a one-time award on behalf of the individual student in the amount of $2,000, which is paid directly to the student’s chosen college or university.

To apply, please complete the following application and return to the Counseling Office by May 9, 2026. The recipient of the scholarship will be announced at the June Awards Ceremony at the Woodstock Union High School.
