Lebanon Art and Crafts Association Scholarship

For: Area seniors with proficiency in visual arts (painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, crafts, textiles, architecture) continuing education with arts as major or minor.

Lebanon Art and Crafts Association Scholarship awards are given to deserving seniors from area high schools who have:

• Shown proficiency in the visual arts (painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, crafts, textiles, or architecture)

• Been accepted at their college of choice

• Are continuing their education with art as a major or minor

Vermont Golf Association Scholarship Fund

Award: Multiple awards | Deadline: April 15, 2026
For: Vermont graduating seniors with active golf affiliation (competing on team, working at golf course, or participating in golf programs/events) enrolled full-time at college, university, or technical school. Apply online or see Main Office for paper application.

The Vermont Golf Association Scholarship Fund assists Vermont graduating seniors in obtaining a college education or technical training of university grade.

Requirements:

• Vermont resident graduating from high school

• Enrolled in or accepted as a full-time student at a college, university, or technical school of university grade

• Current and active affiliation with golf (competing on a golf team, working at a golf course, or participating in golf programs/events)

Attach all supporting documentation when applying. If you cannot complete the application online, paper copies are available in the Main Office at WUHS. Email pj3murray@gmail.com to confirm mailed applications.

Important: Include your phone number and current email address on your application. If supporting documents are missing, the committee will contact you.

Transcript Note: Schools can email transcripts directly to pj3murray@gmail.com rather than releasing them to students.

Gifford Medical Center Scholarship

For:  For graduating seniors pursuing a course of study in the health profession.

The applicant must:

• Be a resident of Barnard, Bethel, Braintree, Brookfield, Chelsea, Granville, Hancock, Northfield, Pittsfield, Randolph, Rochester, Roxbury, Royalton, Sharon, Stockbridge, Strafford, Tunbridge, Vershire, Washington, Williamstown or Woodstock, Vermont.

• Be entering a higher education program to pursue a career in a health profession.

• Attach a brief essay explaining their overall educational and professional goals

• Submit two letters of recommendation from a non-family member

Ottauquechee Health Foundation Health and Wellness Scholarship

For: Students planning to pursue or expand their careers in the health and wellness fields.

This scholarship is for high school students who live within our catchment area or who will be graduating from Woodstock Union High School in Woodstock, VT. For more than 25 years, the Ottauquechee Health Foundation has improved the health and wellbeing of those who live in the towns we serve. They do this through financial assistance, community partnerships, education opportunities, and support of wellness initiatives.

The Ottauquechee Health Foundation assists in the healthcare needs of these core towns: Barnard, Bridgewater, Hartland, Killington, Plymouth, Pomfret, Quechee, Reading, and Woodstock, VT. To help support their mission of creating the healthiest communities possible, OHF has founded the OHF Health and Wellness Scholarship Award. This scholarship will be awarded to those planning to pursue or expand their careers in the health and wellness fields. 

Green Mountain Fine Arts Prize Scholarship

Award: $20,000 | Deadline: May 3, 2026
For: The purpose of this award is to recognize a graduating senior from Woodstock Union High School who is passionate about and dedicated to pursuing a college degree and a career in the visual and/or performing arts (for example painting/drawing, sculpture, film, theater, music, dance, graphic design, illustration, photography, architecture).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicant must meet the following criteria:

1. Applicant must graduate from the Woodstock Union High School in good standing.

2. Applicants must be accepted into an accredited 4-year university (with non-profit status) in a visual-arts or performing arts program.

3. Applicants must be dedicated to completing a college degree and interested in pursuing a career in the visual and/or performing arts.

Woodstock Garden Club Patsy Highberg Scholarship

Award: $2,000 | Deadline: May 9, 2026
For: For students pursuing post-secondary studies related to plant and/or environmental sciences.

The Patsy Highberg Scholarship is awarded to assist individual students in post-secondary studies related to plant and/or environmental sciences. Such studies may include agriculture, botany, conservation, horticulture, forestry, landscape design/architecture, environmental studies, or other related fields.

The scholarship comprises a one-time award on behalf of the individual student in the amount of $2,000, which is paid directly to the student’s chosen college or university.

To apply, please complete the following application and return to the Counseling Office by May 9, 2026. The recipient of the scholarship will be announced at the June Awards Ceremony at the Woodstock Union High School.
