Be entering a higher education program to pursue a career in a health profession.
Attach a brief essay explaining their overall educational and professional goals
Submit two letters of recommendation from a non-family member

This scholarship is for high school students who live within our catchment area or who will be graduating from Woodstock Union High School in Woodstock, VT. For more than 25 years, the Ottauquechee Health Foundation has improved the health and wellbeing of those who live in the towns we serve. They do this through financial assistance, community partnerships, education opportunities, and support of wellness initiatives.
The Ottauquechee Health Foundation assists in the healthcare needs of these core towns: Barnard, Bridgewater, Hartland, Killington, Plymouth, Pomfret, Quechee, Reading, and Woodstock, VT. To help support their mission of creating the healthiest communities possible, OHF has founded the OHF Health and Wellness Scholarship Award. This scholarship will be awarded to those planning to pursue or expand their careers in the health and wellness fields.
Green Mountain Fine Arts Prize Scholarship

For: The purpose of this award is to recognize a graduating senior from Woodstock Union High School who is passionate about and dedicated to pursuing a college degree and a career in the visual and/or performing arts (for example painting/drawing, sculpture, film, theater, music, dance, graphic design, illustration, photography, architecture).

For: The purpose of this award is to recognize a graduating senior from Woodstock Union High School who is passionate about and dedicated to pursuing a college degree and a career in the visual and/or performing arts (for example painting/drawing, sculpture, film, theater, music, dance, graphic design, illustration, photography, architecture).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant must meet the following criteria:
1. Applicant must graduate from the Woodstock Union High School in good standing.
2. Applicants must be accepted into an accredited 4-year university (with non-profit status) in a visual-arts or performing arts program.
3. Applicants must be dedicated to completing a college degree and interested in pursuing a career in the visual and/or performing arts.

Future Teacher Scholarship · Mountain Views Educators Association (MVEA)

MVEA will award one scholarship to a current 12th grade student at WUHS who is highly considering/ majoring in Education. Please fill out all necessary information and return to Counseling Services (these will be collected and forwarded to the MVEA Scholarship Committee for consideration and selection). The amount of this scholarship is $500 and will be awarded in the second semester of college upon successful completion of the first semester and continuation of enrollment in an education program.

Woodstock Garden Club Patsy Highberg Scholarship

For: For students pursuing post-secondary studies related to plant and/or environmental sciences.
The Patsy Highberg Scholarship is awarded to assist individual students in post-secondary studies related to plant and/or environmental sciences. Such studies may include agriculture, botany, conservation, horticulture, forestry, landscape design/architecture, environmental studies, or other related fields.
The scholarship comprises a one-time award on behalf of the individual student in the amount of $2,000, which is paid directly to the student’s chosen college or university.
To apply, please complete the following application and return to the Counseling Office by May 9, 2026. The recipient of the scholarship will be announced at the June Awards Ceremony at the Woodstock Union High School.
