High School

WUHS offers an opportunity-rich, challenging, and engaging curriculum to ensure students achieve deep learning, interdisciplinary understanding, and transferable skills in core academic subjects and learning programs.

Woodstock's academic program offers a strong and broad foundation in the arts, humanities, mathematics, and natural sciences through interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies. Our CRAFT department exemplifies this interdisciplinary approach by connecting students with food and forest systems through experiential learning that addresses real-world environmental challenges.

Beyond traditional coursework, students can explore flexible pathways including community-based learning via the Center of Community Connections, and hands-on career preparation at the Hartford Area Career and Technology Center.

Our extensive and rigorous curriculum—including Advanced Placement courses—along with its varied approach to teaching, prepares students for intellectual inquiry beyond their high school years.
