Knights of Columbus Vermont State Council Scholarship

Award: Five $1,000 scholarships | Deadline: March 15, 2026
For: High school seniors graduating June 2026 who are sons/daughters of Knights of Columbus members in good standing (or deceased members who were in good standing).

To qualify you must be a high school senior qualifying to graduate in June 2026 AND a son or daughter of a Knight of Columbus member (paternal or legally adopted) in good standing in a subordinate Council within the Vermont jurisdiction. Sons or daughters of deceased members are also eligible if their father was in good standing at the time of his death. An applicant may be a member of the Knights of Columbus or a member of a Columbian Squires Circle, in the jurisdiction of Vermont and a high school senior qualifying to graduate in June 2026.

Five $1,000.00 scholarships will be given by the Vermont Knights of Columbus to assist recipients with their education at an accredited Tech School or College of their choice.

Heritage Family Credit Union (HFCU) scholarship

Heritage Family Credit Union (HFCU) will award four $2,000 scholarships in 2026 to graduating seniors planning to continue their education at an accredited college, university, or trade school.

Deadline: Friday, April 3, 2026 at 5:00 PM EST.

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be a current HFCU member

• Be enrolled as a senior at a high school within HFCU's field of membership (Woodstock Union included)

• Demonstrate a track record of leadership in school and/or the community

• Plan to enroll in at least six credits at an accredited college, university, or trade school in fall 2026

To apply, submit:

• A completed application

• A resume including community service and volunteer activities

• An essay describing how your past actions or future plans reflect HFCU's philosophy of "People Helping People"

Vermont Federal Credit Union Scholarship

Vermont Federal Credit Union is offering five educational scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each for the 2026-2027 school year:

• (2) $2,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors.

• (3) $2,000 scholarships to those already enrolled in a college, trade school, or university or having been out of high school for more than one year.

To be eligible to apply, the applicant must meet ALL of the following criteria:

• Applicant must be a member of Vermont Federal Credit Union. If not, join by April 24th, 2026 to be eligible.

• Applicant must be accepted to or enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program at a college, trade school, or university (minimum 12-credit semester or full-time equivalent)*

• Studies must begin in the Fall of 2026 or Spring of 2027 semester

• Immediate family members of Vermont Federal employees and Board members are not eligible

802 Credit Union Scholarship Program

For: Graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue higher education and are active 802CU members.

Vermont Principals’ Association Member Scholarship

For: High school seniors who are children of Vermont Principals' Association members.

Each school year, the Vermont Principals’ Association (VPA) will award $500 scholarships to high school seniors who are the children of VPA members. If you are interested in being considered, please send this form and supporting materials, postmarked no later than May 4, 2026. The scholarships will be announced in June, and will be awarded pending enrollment in their first year of college.

For: For children and grandchildren of current members of MVEA

MVEA may award scholarships to children and grandchildren of current members of MVEA and who are in good standings at WUHS.  Please fill out all necessary information and return to Counseling Services (these will be collected and forwarded to the MVEA Scholarship Committee for consideration and selection).  The amount of this scholarship will be $500 for each eligible applicant.
