Ottauquechee Health Foundation Health and Wellness Scholarship

Award Amount: $500

This scholarship is for high school students who live within our catchment area or who will be graduating from Woodstock Union High School in Woodstock, VT.

For more than 25 years, the Ottauquechee Health Foundation has improved the health and well-being of those who live in the towns we serve. We do this through financial assistance, community partnerships, education opportunities, and support of wellness initiatives. We assist in the healthcare needs of these core towns: Barnard, Bridgewater, Hartland, Killington, Plymouth, Pomfret, Quechee, Reading, and Woodstock, VT. To help support our mission of creating the healthiest communities possible, OHF has founded the OHF Health and Wellness Scholarship Award. This scholarship will be awarded to those planning to pursue or expand their careers in the health and wellness fields.

Sons of The American Legion Dennis Comai Scholarship

Any student who is planning to attend a trade school or technical college and whose grandfather, grandmother, step-grandparents, father, stepfather, mother, step-mother, adopted parents, or grandparents and brothers or sisters are a member of the American Legion Family (American Legion, Ladies Auxiliary, or Sons of the American Legion) are welcome to apply for this scholarship. 

Four separate scholarships of $1000 will be awarded - two in northern Vermont and two in southern Vermont. 

Application deadline is April 15th.

Woodstock Garden Club Patsy Highberg Scholarship

The Patsy Highberg Scholarship is awarded to assist individual students in post-secondary studies related to plant and/or environmental sciences. Such studies may include agriculture, botany, conservation, horticulture, forestry, landscape design/architecture, environmental studies, or other related fields. Winona Smith Scholarship

The Winona Smith Scholarship is awarded by the League of Women Voters of Vermont Education Fund to Vermont high school seniors planning to attend college or trade school.
