Scholarships

Paying for college can feel overwhelming, but scholarships—both need-based and merit-based—can reduce costs.

Whether you're looking for a few hundred dollars or a full-tuition award, scholarships add up and can make a meaningful difference in your financial aid package. The counselors in the Counseling Office are here to help you navigate these opportunities and answer questions.

Local and state scholarships

Note: The Counseling Office manages several local scholarships through one unified application, which is due April 17, 2026.

Submit a single application to be considered for multiple awards supporting students attending 2-year colleges, 4-year universities, and trade/technical schools. Stop by the Counseling Office to get the application and learn more.

Additional scholarship opportunities from local organizations and others throughout Vermont are listed below by deadline. Each requires its own application, which is linked within each scholarship entry. Hard copies of many of these scholarships are available in the counseling office as well.
