Counseling services

The Mission of Woodstock Union's Professional School Counseling Office is to provide a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate counseling program addressing the academic, college, career, and social-emotional learning of all students.

Adolescence is a time when friends and a sense of belonging become a top priority in students' lives. Counselors are available in a variety of ways, from assisting students in making connections with others to mediating when conflicts arise. Healthy communication and healthy relationships are modeled, taught, and practiced in our office.

Connecting with a counselor

The counseling office's doors are open for all student needs - whether you're dealing with academic challenges, planning for the future, or facing personal difficulties. Depression, anxiety, grief, family crises, and everyday stress can be overwhelming. You'll find a safe and nurturing environment where we listen, provide support, and connect you with resources when helpful.

  • Drop in: Study halls, before/after school, or during lunch

  • Referrals welcome: From parents, teachers, or concerned peers anytime
